1. General Analytics
Analytics in Comprehensive lives in two places: People Tools for company-wide employee data, and Cycle Analytics inside a specific comp cycle or review.
Where to find it:
People Tools → Employees → Analytics tab
Cycle Analytics → Inside a comp cycle → Analytics tab
Pay Equity
The default view in both contexts. It gives you a grouped table of compensation data with summary cards at the top.
Summary Cards
Employee count, total salary, avg salary, and avg compa ratio all display at the top of the view.
Grouping & Aggregation
Primary group: Department, role, level, location, and more
Secondary group: Optional nested breakdowns within the primary group
Aggregation options: Avg salary, total salary, headcount, salary increase %, compa ratio, and more
Cycle Summary (Cycle Analytics only)
An additional Summary tab available only inside a review or comp cycle.
What's Included
Overview: High-level view of proposals and budgets for the cycle
Breakdown: Stats by approval level, proposal type, and review parameters
Tracks: Salary, bonus, equity, and promotion data across the cycle
2. AI Analytics (Beta)
A chat-based interface for asking natural language questions about your comp data. Visible to company admins in both People Tools and Cycle Analytics.

How It Works
Chat Interface
Type natural language questions and the AI responds with written analysis and auto-generated charts.
Threads: Conversations are saved with full history so you can pick up where you left off.

Company-Wide / Out-of-Cycle

Quick Reference: Admin Flow
Follow these steps to get the most out of Analytics as an admin.
Navigate to Analytics — Go to People Tools → Employees → Analytics, or open a comp cycle and click the Analytics tab.
Explore Pay Equity — Apply groupings, filters, and aggregations. Click into any row for individual-level detail. Export to Excel when ready.
Check the Summary tab (in-cycle only) — Review budget and proposal overviews, broken down by approval level, proposal type, and review parameters.
Switch to AI Analytics — Ask questions in plain English. The AI responds with written insights and auto-generated charts.
Rate AI responses — Use the thumbs up/down buttons and leave notes to help improve quality over time.
Export your findings — Export any charts or analysis messages as PDF-ready layouts with Comprehensive branding.
